Trammels

General's adjustable trammels accurately measure and mark distances that are too great for conventional compasses and dividers. Trammels will accurately transfer measurements, scribe arcs and lay out circles. Points can be replaced with pencils, ballpoint pens, crayons or soap- stone sticks for marking various materials.

ADJUSTABLE TRAMMELS

Clamps onto beam 5/8" to 1-1/2" thick of any length.
General's adjustable trammels accurately measure and mark distances that are too great for conventional compasses and dividers.
For layouts, marking templates, and drawing large circles.
6" off-center eccentric points provide fine adjustment.
Points can be replaced with pencils, ballpoint pens, crayons, or soapstone sticks for marking various materials.

Clamp opening for beam is 3/8" x 3/4".
Conform to government specifications GGG-T-661b.

Fine adjusting screw sets points accurately.
Points are removable and may be replaced with the pencil holder.
Die-cast bodies with hardened and ground 3" needlepoint legs.
